Highway #28 Raw Water Supply Main & Treatment Building

Project Info:

A complex build that involved both the site works for the construction of a new raw water treatment building for the City of Campbell River, and the connection of several big-bore steel transmission mains for distribution into the City’s water supply.  Countless hours were spent planning each stage of construction as the connection sequencing of the new feeds onto the existing transmission mains could not interrupt distribution to the city.  This project required coordination between Wacor, Knappett Projects, The City of Campbell River, The Ministry of Transportation and BC Hydro to be successful.
