About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Estimator to lead our estimating team and drive the success of infrastructure projects ranging from $1M to $20M+. You’ll be at the heart of our pre-construction process, collaborating with leadership, suppliers, and subcontractors to deliver accurate, competitive bids for heavy civil, municipal, highway, airport, and land development projects.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000/year + performance bonuses

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the estimating team through full-cycle bid preparation
- Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate material takeoffs and subcontractor scope reviews
- Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare and submit final estimates and bid packages
- Support post-tender negotiations and project handoff
- Track actual vs. estimated costs and assist with change orders
- Conduct post-project reviews to improve future estimates
Education & Qualifications
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in civil estimating or a combination of field and estimating roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Expertise in earthworks, underground utilities, paving, and structural components
- Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid, MS Excel, Word, and Project
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of OH&S regulations and environmental best practices
